Dorothy Mae (Pruitt) Burton

     Dorothy Mae (Pruitt) Burton, age 77 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, September 1, 2024 at Pickett Care and Rehab.

     She was born September 6, 1946 in Sunnybrook, KY to Odie Pruitt and Ruby (Rigney) Pruitt. She was a caregiver.

     Dorothy was survived by (1) daughter: Lisa (Stinson) Van Westing and husband: Richard; (2) sons: Rocky Everett Stinson and wife: Carol, Bobby Joe Stinson and wife: Joyce; (4) grandchildren: Tiffani Ledbetter, Lisa Marie Fitzgerald Simmons, Robert Paul Fitzgerald and Tommy Allan Fitzgerald; (8) great-grandchildren; (1) great-great-grandchild. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Odie and Ruby Pruitt; husband: Edward Paul Burton; several sisters; (2) brothers.

     The family has chosen cremation.
