Dora (Terry) Walker

     Dora (Terry) Walker, age 89 of Pall Mall, TN passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at The Medical Center at Albany.

     She was born January 12, 1936 in Forbus, TN to George Terry and Ida Mae (Whittenburg) Terry. She was a boot and furniture factory employee. She loved gardening, canning, flowers and quilting. 

     Dora was survived by (3) daughters: Ruby Rains (Dexter), Ida Kennedy (Leonard Norris), Rebecca Wilkins; (2) sons: Billy Gene Terry, Kenneth Dwayne Terry (Connie); (2) step-daughters: Teresa Gray (Jr.) and Patricia Brewer; (1) step-son: Leon Walker (Christina); (7) grandchildren, (11) great-grandchildren, (9) step-grandchildren, (16) step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: George and Ida Terry; husband: Jerry Walker; (9) sisters: Ora Harvey, Menda Smithers, Ada Stinson, Viola Delk, Adaline Davidson, Bessie Slaven, Lona Slaven, Hattie King and Maudie Troxell; (5) brothers: Allen Whittenburg, Maynard Terry, Raymond Terry, Lonzie Terry and Ransom Terry.

     Funeral services were held Thursday, July 24, 2025 at 10:00 AM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Steve Cook officiating. The burial was in Travisville Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Trey Wilkins, Dalton Wilkins, Jason Kennedy, Eddie Stinson, Darrell Garrett and Brandon Garrett.

     The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.  

     Memorial contributions in memory of Dora (Terry) Walker can be made to the Travisville Cemetery Fund and can be left at Brown Funeral Chapel.
