Diana (Smith) Hummel

     Diana Ruth Hummel, 73, of Anderson, passed away July 26, 2020 at Community Hospital in Anderson, IN. She was born on May 22, 1947 in Livingston, Tennessee to the late Edith and Allard Smith. And lived in Byrdstown, TN.

     She worked in the cafeteria at Anderson Community Schools for many years, was a member of the Madison Park Church of God, enjoyed playing bingo, and most of all, being with her family.

     Diana is survived by her loving children, Tammy Schlabach, Julie Cook, and Robert (Teresa) Carr; siblings, David Smith and Delta Smith; grandchildren, Dustin (Stefanie) Johnson, Jacy Cook, Jami (Justin) Kitchen, Joshua Lillard, Hailey Carr and Cheyanna Carr; several great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronnie Carr; second husband, M B Hummel; sister, Doris Copeland and her brother, Donald Smith.

     A memorial service will be held at the cemetery for family.
