Clementine (Pritchard) Asberry

     Jane Clementine (Pritchard) Asberry, age 89 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

     She was born November 23, 1934 in Parker, TN to Jerry Keaton Pritchard and Mary E. (Smith) Pritchard. She was a member of Maupin Methodist Church, an employee at Subway, and a former garment factory employee. 

     Clementine was survived by (2) sons: Michael W. Asberry and wife: Tammy, Charlie K. Asberry and wife: Shirley; (4) grandchildren: Elizabeth Barber, Christopher Asberry, Whitney Lea Henderson and Jeremiah K. Asberry; (5) great-grandchildren: Koleson Henderson, Baker K. Asberry, Aiden Barber, Gracie Asberry and Jane Asberry; (2) sisters: Nellie Armstrong, Betty Beaty and husband: Hack; (1) brother: Earl Pritchard and wife: Martha. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Jerry and Mary Pritchard; husband: Howard Asberry; (5) brothers: Amber, Odell, Clyde, William and Lewis Pritchard.

     Funeral services were held Friday, August 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Maupin Church with Bro. Greg Wells officiating. The burial was in Maupin Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Christopher Asberry, Jeremiah Asberry, Tim Armstrong, Blake Barber, Garrison Dowdy and Keyton Dowdy. 

     The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel. 

     The body will lie in State at the Maupin Methodist Church on Friday Aug. 9 from 8:00 A.M. until time of the service at 11:00 A.M.
