Claude Alexander Gibbs

    Claude Alexander Gibbs, age 96 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at his residence.

     He was born January 15, 1929 in Mars Hill, NC to Claude Gibbs and Sue (Dillingham) Gibbs. He was a member of Beech Glen Baptist Church in Mars Hill, NC, a retired plant manager at Siemens, and was a member of Arabia Shriners for 60 years.

     Claude is survived by his wife: Deloise (Banks) Gibbs; (1) son: Daniel Gibbs; (3) grandchildren, (6) great-grandchildren and (1) great-great-grandchild; (2) sisters: Louise Hughes and Elizabeth Payne; (1) brother: Max Gibbs. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Claude and Sue Gibbs; (1) daughter: Brenda Joann Gibbs; (1) grandchild: Joshua Hammons; (5) siblings. 

     The family has chosen cremation and there are no services planned at this time.
