Chrystell (Mullins) Griffin

     Chrystell (Mullins) Griffin, age 88 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, February 10, 2023 at The Medical Center at Albany.

     She was born January 25, 1935 in Byrdstown, TN to James and Letha (Lee) Mullins. She was a member of Red Hill Church of Christ, a factory employee and a homemaker.

     Chrystell was survived by (1) Son: Stephen Griffin and Wife: Janie; (2) Grandchildren: Owen Griffin and Hannah Griffin; (5) Nieces: Linda Sims, Elaine Storie, Joan Guffey, Carolyn Garrett and Ruth Baker; (3) Nephews: James, Charles and Lynn Garrett. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: James and Letha Mullins; Husband: Junior Griffin; (5) Sisters: Elizabeth Garrett, Janie Garrett, Daisy Stephenson, Ruby Taylor and Nellie Mullins; (3) Brothers: Earl, Edgar and Marshall Mullins.

     Funeral services were held Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stacy Evans and Bill Elmore speaking. Burial was in the Story Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Owen Griffin, Craig Martin, Carter Martin, Kendall Storie, Danny Guffey, Gary Garrett, Steve Garrett and Darrell Garrett. 

     Serving as honorary pallbearers were Bill Elmore, J. Will Taylor, Ronnie Bandy, Jamie Guffey, Lynn Garrett, Jim Garrett and Charles Garrett.

     The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 12,2023 from 11:00 A.M. until time of the service at 2:00 P.M.
