Charles Aaron Jolley, age 89 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at his residence.
He was born March 23, 1936 in Byrdstown, TN to Amon Jolly and Audra (Amonett) Jolly. He was a deacon and elder at Bloomington Christian Church; a former county director and social worker for Tennessee Department of Human Services; a founding member of Pickett County Rescue Squad; and he enjoyed sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Amon and Audra Jolly; (1) sister: Barbara Neal.
Charles was survived by his wife: Doris (Reagan) Jolley; (1) daughter: Jane Cross and husband: Bob; (1) son: Mickey Jolly and wife: Shelia; (5) grandchildren: Drue Jolly (Courtney), Kate Dixon (Randall), Scott Jolly (Abby), Tyler Cross, Lydia Lanzoni (Levi); (6) great-grandchildren. Also survived by other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 2:00 PM from Bloomington Christian Church with Bro. Steve McClure officiating. The burial was in Amonett Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Drue Jolly, Scott Jolly, Tyler Cross, Randall Dixon, Levi Lanzoni and Bob Cross.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 PM until the service at 2:00 PM at Bloomington Christian Church.
