Betty Sue (Bilbrey) Pierce

     Betty Sue (Bilbrey) Pierce, age 82 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

     She was born February 28, 1943 in Byrdstown, TN to Marshall Bilbrey and Minnie (Harden) Bilbrey. She attended Southern Grace Baptist Church and was a garment factory employee.

     Betty was survived by (1) daughter: Janie Marie Pierce; (1) son: Ricky Pierce; (9) grandchildren, (21) great-grandchildren and (7) great-great-grandchildren; (1) brother: Johnny Bilbrey and wife: Emily; (1) niece and (3) nephews. Also survived by other family members and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Marshall and Minnie Bilbrey; husband: A.L. Pierce; (2) daughters: Connie Little and Janet Walker; (1)) sister: Shirley Neal; (1) granddaughter: Amanda Moreland; (1) great-granddaughter: McKenzie Moreland; (1) infant great-granddaughter. 

     Funeral services were held Sunday, October 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jeff Flowers officiating. The burial was in Story Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Johnny Bilbrey, Colby Pierce, Jeremy Williams, Daniel Huddleston, Caleb Smith, Ben Smith, Rhonda Dailey and Rickey Miller. 

     The family will receive friends Saturday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
