Anne Johnson Obituary

Anne Johnson, age 74, passed away peacefully at her home in Byrdstown, Tennessee on April 24, 2026. Born on October 28, 1951, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Anne later moved with her family to Absecon, New Jersey, where she grew up and graduated from Pleasantville High School. She went on to earn her associate degree from Atlantic Community College and built a long, dedicated career at Consolidated Products in Northfield, New Jersey retiring after 33 years of service.

Anne lived for many years in Collings Lake, New Jersey before fulfilling her dream of retiring to Tennessee at the end of December 2025. She embraced every community she was part of, always offering a helping hand to neighbors, friends, and anyone in need—never with hesitation, always with a full heart.

A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Anne cherished her family above all else. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Ronald Johnson; her son Anthony Cassetta and his wife Maria, her son Michael Cassetta and his wife Joanne, her stepdaughter Samantha Johnson; along with their 5 grandchildren Bella, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, and Peyton; her brother Wayne Howell and his wife Dawn; and her niece Ashley Howell.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Howell, Sr. and Margaret Howell.

Throughout her life, Anne poured her energy into supporting her children and grandchildren. Whether it was softball, volleyball, lacrosse, or soccer, she was always in the stands—cheering, encouraging, and celebrating every moment. She volunteered as a room mom in her children's classrooms and proudly served a one‑year term on the Hammonton School Board, always committed to helping others thrive.

Anne will be remembered for her kindness, her generosity, and her unwavering devotion to her family. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.

Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in Anne's memory.
