Alice Kay (Cowan) Storie

     Alice Kay (Cowan) Storie, age 69, of Cowan Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. 

     She was born January 14, 1952 in New Castle, IN to George Bryant Cowan and Wanda Lee (Ferrell) Cowan. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church, a school secretary and bookkeeper. 

     Alice is survived by her Husband: Robert J. "Bob" Storie; (3) Daughters: Alison Storie, Robin Storie and  Husband: Kelvin Beaty, Deedee Buck and Husband: Josh; (1) Son: Taylor Storie and Wife: Dani; (1) Sister: Jane Cowan; Most Precious Grandchildren: Aubree and Lanie Buck;Aunt: Brenda Smith; Uncle: Charles Ferrell; Father-In-Law: Hivus Storie; Brother-In-Law: Bill Storie and Wife: Bernice; Sister-In-Law: Cheryl Coleman and Husband: David; Special Nephew: Jonah Johnson. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, family members and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Bryant and Wanda Cowan; Brother: Richard Cowan; Mother-In-Law: Anna Marie Storie. 

     Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel. Bro. Travis Simpson and Bro. Dwight Coffman will officiate, burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Brown Funeral Chapel.
