Alice Jean (Ellison) Anderson

     Alice Jean (Ellison) Anderson, age 79 of Cookeville, TN passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

     She was born June 20, 1945 in New Castle, IN to Ottie Ellsworth Ellison and Beulah Jane (Copeland) Ellison. She was a real estate agent and a homemaker.

     Alice was survived by (2) daughters: Penelope Baker and husband: Joe, Priscilla Anderson; (2) grandchildren: Grace Ellison Baker, Will Anderson Baker and wife: Angelica Baker; (3) sisters: Pat Rich and husband: David, Rebecca Kennedy, Donna Romines and husband: Steve. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Ottie and Beulah Ellison; (1) sister: Phyllis Lee; (2) brothers: Jimmy Copeland and Malcolm Ellison. 

     Funeral services were held Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 3:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel, with Joe Baker speaking. The burial was in Lovelady-Sims Cemetery. 

     Serving as pallbearers were Will Baker, Jeff Rich, Nicky Rich, Tanner Rich, Stewart Rich, James Wright and Aidan Smith. 

     The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 PM until the service at 3:00 PM.
