Roxie Eva (Brown) Amonett

     Roxie Eva (Brown) Amonett age 87 of Creed Huddleston Lane in Byrdstown, passed away Wednesday Jan. 9, 2019 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

    She was born Jan. 25, 1931 in Albany, KY to Stanley Oliver Brown and Ellen Pyretta (Latham) Brown. She was a member of the Byrdstown First Baptist Church, where she was a previous Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was also a retired school teacher and homemaker.

     Roxie is survived by her Husband: Eugene "Gene" Amonett; (2) Sons: Jeff Amonett and Wife: Paula and Trent Amonett and Wife: Maria; (7) Grandchildren: Bailey, Brianna, Gage, Olivia, Jacob, Jonathan and William. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Stanley and Ellen Brown; (2) Sisters: Faye Rich and Sue Harrison.

     Funeral Services will be held Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. from the Byrdstown First Baptist Church with Bro. Jeff Amonett and Bro. Ivan Raley officiating. Burial will follow in the Amonett Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Chapel on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

     The Body will Lie In State at the Byrdstown First Baptist Church on Sunday from 12:00 Noon until time of the service.
