Goodbye dad. You were the best father a daughter could ask for. You taught me many lessons in this life. I will remember these lessons well, and as I continue through my journey I will use them and pass them along to those who come behind me. You will forever be in my heart. Save travels. Meet you on the other side! I love you daddy!

Uncle LP you will always be loved by me. I would like to add that his sister was Betty Slaughter and he has a daughter, only born daughter who is Jeannie Upchurch!! Why in this world was his only daughter left out of this obituary is beyond me. I am so glad that you presented me with your bible while you were still able too. I LOVE YOU!!!! ps I am going to start reading it and make you so proud of me!!
