Jim was a wonderful friend and we have many special memories of time spent with Lenora and Jim. Jim would do anything for you and always had a smile on his face.
Sure helped our early retirement days so much better. Jim will be missed by many. May God give the family comfort in this most difficult time.

So saddened to hear about Jim. He was a amazing person. I loved being in the choir with him at church. The world was a better place with him in it. My love and prayers to all the family..

Surprise and sadness is what I felt upon hearing of Jamesโ€™ passing. He will be sorely missed by those who knew him. When I was a youngster it was always memorable when he would visit Beattyville and share what he was doing to his latest project car. He always had time to explain what he was working on. As an adult I thought of him as an example of what happens when you have a life plan. Work, retire and move to a home on the lake. I am proud to be his cousin. R.I.P. James

As I grew up, Uncle Jim was one of the "coolest" men I ever knew. He had a quick laugh that reminded me of Grandpa Baker, and he always had the cool cars and boats. He was friendly, kind, smart, and he was humble. My mom, Shirley Baker Lucente, told me lately that I looked a lot like Uncle Jim. I consider that a compliment. Because I was in the military almost all my life I didn't get to spend much time with Uncle Jim, but when I did get to see him, it was always fun and enjoyable. He is one of those people that even when you weren't around them much, when they are gone you still seem to miss them like you had been around them much. My condolences to the family. May God grant y'all peace and grace in this time of grieving.

All I have is happy memories of us growing up with you all; at the lake, camp, boating, catching fish in sinking boats ๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜‚ knee boarding, the old school way (sand painted circle wood๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ) nothing like, the childhood of us as friend. I loved this man. Will miss his smile and warmth, Rest In Peace JimโœŒ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ˜Ž Love โค๏ธ, Tara

We were so sad to hear of Jim's passing, what a great friend to us, loving husband to Lenore and great father to Scott. We will miss the "mayor" of Jolly creek, he and Lenora were awesome friends to us. Jim was a great example of a loving husband through all the challenges they have faced the past few years. We are praying for your family during this difficult time.

We were so saddened to here of James' passing. We were always so happy to get to see him and Lenore whenever they were able to come to Beattyville. Jerry remembers a lot of good times and always enjoyed discussing cars with him. Doris was so glad to get to see him again at Aunt Norma's funeral in April. We will be praying for your family as you adjust to your loss of James. He was truly loved by his family.
