Frances "Fran" Hassler, age 92, of Signature Health Care of Putnam Co., passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Signature Health Care of Putnam Co. She was born Mar. 5, 1927 in Byrdstown, TN to Webster and Treva (Tompkins) Matthews. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Byrdstown, TN and a retired owner of Tennessee Barber College.

She is survived by (1) Sister: Billie Glee Beaty; (1) Niece: Jackie Donaldson and Husband: Lonnie; (1) Nephew: Stephen Beaty. She is also survived by other family members and friends.

Frances is preceded in death by her Parents: Webster and Treva Matthews (3) Husbands: Harlan Copeland, Pete Hassler, Dale Joseph Newman; (2) Daughters: Beverly Copeland and Taffy Copeland.

Graveside Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 7, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. from the Story Cemetery with Chaplin Melinda Bilbrey officiating.
