Ernest Howard Cummings

     Mr. Ernest Howard Cummings, age 82, of Magnolia Ave. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He was born March 15, 1936 in Albany, KY to Charlie Cummings and Mattie (Cross) Cummings. Ernest was a farmer and a carpenter.

     He is survived by his Wife: Creola Cummings; (1) Son: Johnny Cummings and Wife: Beth; (1) Sister: Mary Rhule; (2) Brothers: Edward Cummings and Earl Cummings; (4) Grandchildren: Josh, Michael, Alicia, and Drake; (5) Great-Grandchildren: Hannah, Justice, Jaxon, Liam, and Jakota. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

     Ernest is preceded in death by his Parents: Charlie and Mattie Cummings; Daughter: Jacki Dow; Great-Grandson: Jesse Cummings; (2) Sisters: Margaret Byrd and Lucille Cole; (1) Brother: Grady Cummings.

     Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 25, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel. Bro. Randy Tompkins, Bro. Johnny Reeder, and Bro. Austin Flowers will be officiating and burial will be in the Smyrna Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel.
