Carlene (Moon) Hargrove

     Carlene (Moon) Hargrove, age 72, of Moon Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. 

     She was born May 28, 1947 in Jamestown, TN to Rev. Drannon Moon and Neva (Clayborn) Moon. She was a member of Frogge's Chapel United Baptist Church and was a seamstress. 

     Carlene is survived by (1) Daughter: Teresa Clark and Husband: Joey ; (1) Son: James Coots ; Mother: Neva Moon ; (2) Sisters: Linda Crabtree and Barbra Smith ; (1) Honorary Sister: Mary Jarvis ; (3) Brothers: David Moon, Mark Moon and Kip Moon ; (1) Honorary Brother: Lonnie Moon ;  (6) Grandchildren ; (6) Great Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Father: Rev. Drannon Moon ; (1) Son: Ricky Lebron Coots ; (1) Nephew: Brad Cooper.

     Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Moodyville Missionary Baptist Church with James Coots speaking. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

* The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Brown Funeral Chapel * 

* The body will lie in state at Moodyville Missionary Baptist Church, Friday morning from 9:00 A.M. until service time at 1:00 P.M. *
