Wesley Odell Johnson

     Wesley Odell Johnson, age 70 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Livingston Regional Hospital.

     He was born March 16, 1953 in Byrdstown, TN to Joe Johnson and Lora (Abbott) Johnson. He was a member of Etter Baptist Church and a carpenter.

     Wesley was survived by his wife: Gayle (Burks) Johnson; (1) daughter: Amanda Krantz; (4) grandchildren: Macie and Jewel Krantz, Daniel and Quin Johnson; (4) sisters: Sue Grider, Brinda Brown, Rosa Parsons and Louise Ransom; (2) brothers: Malcolm Johnson and Eugene Johnson. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Joe and Lora Johnson; (1) son: Brandon Johnson; (1) grandson: Alex Krantz; (1) son-in-law: Gabe Krantz; (1) sister: Wanda Amonett.

     Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Eric Thoman and Bro. Rick Cross officiating. The burial was in Etter Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Matthew Storie, Malcolm Johnson, William Miller, Gary Hogue, Tommy Aaron and Rob Ransom. 

      Memorial contributions in memory of Wesley Johnson can be made to the Etter Cemetery Fund.

     The family will receive friends Tuesday from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
