Robert Young Obituary

Robert Eugene Young, age 89 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 24, 1934 in Tipton, IN to Paul Kenneth Young and Madeline (Rayls) Young. He was a member of Byrdstown First Baptist Church, volunteered twenty-years to the Pickett County Fire Department and was a former draftsman at General Motors.

Robert was survived by his wife: Sue Lynn (Maguire) Young; (2) daughters: Vickie Lynn Jones, Willa Balentine; (2) sons: Mark Kenneth Young, Michael Brian Young; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; (1) sister: Jolene Rayle.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Madeline Young.

Funeral services will be held at a later date in Anderson, IN. The burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Anderson, IN.
