Lloyd 'Pudge' Shaver

     Lloyd 'Pudge' Denton Shaver, age 52 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at his residence.

     He was born September 14, 1971 in Livingston, TN to Donald Shaver and Shelba (Logan) Shaver. He was a member of Byrdstown First Baptist Church, a member of Byrdstown Volunteer Fire Department.  Pudge loved to fish, hunt, ride horses, go to car shows, loved people, and loved being with his family.

     Pudge was survived by his parents: Donald and Shelba Shaver; (3) brothers: Daniel Shaver and wife: Becky, James Shaver and wife: Carmen, Donnie Shaver and wife: Victoria. Also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.

     Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross, Bro. Jim Rigney, and Robert Bond speaking. The burial was in Good Hope Cemetery in Livingston.

     Serving as pallbearers were Gary Garrett, David Dowdy, Dana Dowdy, Anthony Scott, Dr. James Tompkins, Daniel Abbott and Elmo Booher. 

     Serving as honorary pallbearers were Samuel Shaver, Matthew Shaver, Pickett County Fire Department, Pickett County EMS, Edward Dowdy and Robert Bond. 

     The family will receive friends at the Brown Funeral Chapel on Wed. Nov. 8, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until time of the service at 2:00 P.M.
