Gaylon Rose (Pryor) Nicholas

     Gaylon Rose (Pryor) Nicholas, age 72 of Pall Mall, TN passed away Thursday, September 28, 2023 at The Medical Center at Albany.

     She was born July 11, 1951 to Webster Marion Pryor and Bulah (Dowdy) Pryor. She was a former garment factory employee.

     Gaylon was survived by (2) daughters: Robin Martin Nolze and husband: Randy, Skyller Pierce and husband: Kevin; (9) grandchildren: Chloe Martin Guffey, Quade Martin, Owen Martin, Johnwilder Martin, Ellarose Nolze, Matthew Nolze, Bray Pierce, Letty Pierce and Penny Pierce; (3) brothers: Wayne and Gary Pryor, Watson Pryor and wife: Georgine; sister-in-laws: Phyllis Pryor and Nell Pryor; brother-in-law: Rex Tompkins. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Webster and Bulah Pryor; son-in-law: Todd Martin; (2) sisters: Linda Booher, Ann Brubaker; (6) brothers: Hollis, Gene, Jackie, Butch, Bobby and Paul Pryor; ex-husband: Bill Tompkins. 

     Funeral services were held Sunday, October 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Robert and Brenda Pryor speaking. The burial was in Story Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Owen, Johnwilder and Quade Martin, Randy Nolze, Kevin Pierce and Blake Upchurch.

     The family will receive friends Sunday from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
