Charles Eugene Parris

     Charles Eugene Parris, age 68 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Friday, February 23, 2024 at his residence.

     He was born September 9, 1955 in Livingston, TN to Glenn Edward Parris and Estlean (Brown) Parris. He was a member of First Christian Church Byrdstown and a former business owner.

     Charles was survived by (1) daughter: Sarah Storie and husband: Devin; (3) sons: Jason Parris, Jacob Parris, Spencer Moon and wife: Linda; (12) grandchildren: Victoria Sells, Slayde Copeland, Bradyn Storie, Lyric Parris, Piper Parris, Lexie Parris, Jase Parris, Addison Moon, Emmalyn Moon, Jalin Byrd, Dylan Hill and Ashley Suddy; (3) great-grandchildren; (1) sister: Melissa Abel and husband: Jeff; (2) brothers: Jerry Parris and wife: Marjorie, Gary Parris; (2) sister-in-laws: Sandy Parris and Sheila Parris. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenn and Estlean; (1) grandson: Cole Sells; (1) granddaughter: Shelby Sells; (2) brothers: James Parris and David Parris. 

     Funeral services were held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 12:00 PM from First Christian Church Byrdstown with Bro. Jerry Ridge officiating. The burial was in Parris-Riley-Russell Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Lyric Parris, Slayde Copeland, Adam Parris, Jerry Parris, Eugene Parris and Barton Parris. 

     Serving as honorary pallbearers were David Allen Parris, Damien Parris, Dante Parris, Blake Parris, Kolby Parris and Micheal Abel.

     The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Christian Church Byrdstown.
