Brenda Sue (Patton) Moles

     Brenda Sue (Patton) Moles, age 76 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Monday, February 5, 2024 at Pickett Care and Rehab.

     She was born July 2, 1947 in Jamestown, TN to Walden Delk and Molly (Patton) Delk. She was a member of Fairview Church. She loved her family, friends and gardening. She was a former restaurant owner and cook.

     Brenda was survived by (2) daughters: Regina Sawyers and husband: Jimmy, Misty Cross and husband: Tony; (3) grandchildren: Dawson Brannum and fiancé: Abbie Weston, Jaycee Brannum, Chassidy Cross; (1) great-grandchildren: Mia Brannum; (1) sister: Denise Wright and husband: Mike; (1) brother: Perry Delk; special friend: Becky Turner. Also survived by other family members and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her parents: Walden and Molly Delk; husband: Arnold 'Buck' Moles; (1) sister: Betty Bowden; (2) brothers: Jerry Delk and Billy Patton. 

     Funeral services were held Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross, Bro. Patrick Cope and Perry Delk officiating. The burial was in Riley Cemetery.

     Serving as pallbearers were Blake Palk, Mike Delk, Jimmy Cope, Brad Bowden, Brian Brannum and David Clark.

     The family will receive friends Thursday from 11:00 AM until service at 2:00 PM.
