Sarah (Walker) Byrd

     Sarah (Walker) Byrd age 80 of Cove Creek Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at the Pickett County Care and Rehab.

     She was born June 22, 1936 in Pickett Co., TN to Titus Walker and Matha (Walker) Walker. She was a member of the Fairview Church and worked at Star Point Resort as a housekeeper.

     Sarah is survived by (3) Sisters: Linnie Jordan , Joyce Abbott and Husband: Palmer , Edith Nicholas and Husband: Noble ; (1) Brother: Doyle Walker and Wife: Barbara ; Special Friends: Bill and Vivi Rogers , Cleta Jones. Also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. 

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Titus and Matha Walker ; Husband: James Byrd ; (1) Sister: Beulah Ledbetter ; (1) Brother: Donald Walker ; (1) Nephew: Steven Jordan ; Brother-In-Laws: Paul Jordan and Oren Ledbetter ; Sister-In-Law: Ivadell Walker.

     Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Riddle officiating and burial in the Smyrna Cemetery. 

* The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel *
