Reid Davis Phillips

     Reid Davis Phillips age 96 of Overton County Health and Rehab and formerly of Pickett Co., TN passed away Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Overton County Health and Rehab.

     He was born February 17, 1921 in Pickett Co., TN to John Andrew Phillips and Mary Jane (Scott) Phillips. He was the last member of the Van's Branch Baptist Church and a teacher.

     Reid is survived by (6) Nieces: Joyce Robertson , Mary Faye Sharp , Lana Brown , Linda , Lila and Marian White ; (6) Nephews: Bill Singleton, Joe Singleton, Roger Phillips, George Page, Johnny Page, Larry Dillon. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: John and Mary Jane Phillips ; Wife: Gilbrett Phillips ; (3) Brothers: Ray Phillips, Willie Phillips and Russell Phillips ; (4) Sisters: Blanch Dillon, Dorsie Singleton, Mable Page, Mary Ruth Phillips. 

     Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial in the Van's Branch Cemetery.
