Olene (Brannum) Tompkins

     Olene (Brannum) Tompkins age 84 of Pickett Co. Care and Rehab and a former resident of Means Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. 

     She was born January 6, 1931 in Pickett Co., TN to Azel Brannum and Ruby (Pendergrass) Brannum. She attended Smyrna Church and Wolf River United Baptist Church, was a nurse's assistant, factory worker and homemaker. 

     Olene is survived by (2) Sons: Randy Tompkins and Wife: Kathy , Roger Tompkins and Wife: Cathy ; (1) Half Sister: Martha Beaty ; (2) Half Brothers: Frank Brannum and Paul Brannum ; (4) Grandchildren ; (16) Great Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Azel and Ruby Brannum ; Husband: Hulon Arthur Tompkins ; (1) Brother: Glenn Brannum ; (1) Half Sister: Mary Terry. 

     Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross officiating and burial in the Smyrna Cemetery.
