Maurine (Copeland) Holt

     Maurine (Copeland) Holt age 97 of Harrison Road in Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.

     She was born September 21, 1918 in Pickett Co., TN to Peter Turney Copeland and Esther (Amonett) Copeland. She was a member of the Bloomington Christian Church, a garment factory employee and homemaker. 

      Maurine is survived by (1) Daughter: Ruth Ann Cross and Husband: Jim ;  Son-In-Law: Jack Cooksey ;  (2) Sisters: Sylvia Sells , Doris Neal and Husband: Ralph ; (3) Brothers: Delano Copeland and Wife: Jean , Gale Copeland and Wife: Eva , Jerry Doyle Copeland and Wife: Linda ; (6) Grandchildren ; (6) Great Grandchildren ; (2) Great Great Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Peter and Esther Copeland ; Husband: Elza Holt ; (1) Daughter: Dosha Esther Cooksey ; (2) Sons: Max Holt , Bobby Holt and Wife: Fran (Clark) Holt ; (3) Sisters: Hazel Reagan, Kathleen Reagan, Mary Lou Chiles ; (1) Brother: Turney Copeland. 

     Funeral services will be held Friday, July 29, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. from the Bloomington Christian Church with Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Stevan McClure officiating. Burial will be in the Amonett Cemetery. 

* The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel * 

* The body will lie in state Friday morning at Bloomington Christian Church from 8:00 A.M. until service time at 10:00 A.M.  *

* Memorial contributions in memory of Maurine Holt can be made to the Bloomington Christian Church Building Fund *
