John Ervin Lee

     John Ervin "Tennessee" Lee age 80 of Westport, IN and formerly of Pickett Co., TN passed away Thursday, December 22, 2016 in Indiana. 

     He was born September 27, 1936 in Byrdstown, TN to John Leslie Lee and Sarah Ada (Holt) Lee. He was a member of the Alert United Methodist Church and was part of a singing ministry. He had worked at the Boot Factory and Holt Brothers Saw Mill in Tennessee along with taking over his dad's farming. John was previously employed at Anchor Hocking in Winchester and Frank's Foundry in Muncie. 

     John is survived by his Wife: Stella Darlene Lee ; (5) Sons: Wayne Lee and Wife: Patty, Robert Lynn Lee, Kenneth Lee and Wife: Maru, John Leslie Lee and Wife: Stephanie, Jerry Dean Lee and Wife: Serena; (2) Daughters: Anita Rose West and Husband: Paul , Sheila Diane Perkins and Husband: Steve ; (3) Sisters: Bertha Cross, Lena Mae Cross and Ruby Grace McCammack and Husband: Dennis ; (14) Grandchildren and (9) Great Grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Parents: John Leslie and Sarah Ada Lee ; (5) Brothers: Harlan, Herschel, Howard, Herb and Gene Lee ; (5) Sisters: Kathleen Jennings, Nannie Flowers, Nellie Morrow, Mary Lammott and Ruth Thrasher. 

     Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2016 at 12:00 Noon from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Wayne Lee officiating and burial in the Amonett Cemetery.
