James Parris

    James Edward Parris, age 65, of Byrdstown, TN, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born February 20, 1953 in Livingston, TN to Glenn Edward Parris and Estlean (Brown) Parris. He was a member of the Byrdstown First Christian Church, a retired employee with The City of Byrdstown and loved Pickett County Basketball.

    James is survived by: His Wife: Sandy (Winningham) Parris; (2) Sons: Eugene Parris (Natalie), Barton Parris; Mother-In-Law: Flonnie Carter: (1) Sister: Melissa Abell (Jeff); (3) Brothers: Charles Parris, Jerry Parris (Marjorie), Gary Parris.; (4) Grandchildren: Blake, Stella, Emma and Gretta Parris. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his Parents: Glenn and Estlean Parris; (1) Brother: David Parris.

    Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, Mar. 14, 2018 at 12:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. John Stone and Bro. Larry Brown officiating and burial in the Parris Cemetery.

    The family of James Parris will receive friends at the Brown Funeral Chapel Tuesday Mar. 13, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
