Garrett McKendre Suiter

     Garrett McKendre Suiter, age 26, of Lakeside Road, Byrdstown, TN passed away on November 17, 2017 at his residence. He was surrounded by his loving family as he met his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born October 14, 1991 in Nashville to Brandon and Lisa Garrett Suiter. He was a member of and attended Bloomington Christian Church, where he was active with the church's youth group. Christ in Youth (CIY) and Tennessee Christian Teen Conference (TCTC) were among his favorite activities.

     In 2010 Garrett graduated from Pickett County High School, ranking third in his class. In December 2014 he received a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Tennessee Technological University. Garrett was an avid reader and a collector of books. He loved to travel with his family.

     Garrett is survived by his parents Brandon and Lisa Garrett Suiter, sister and best friend, Jane Anne Suiter, grandmother, Lucy Garrett, aunts, Gina Wilbur (Clark), Lee Ann Herndon (Bob), his special aunt Dorothy Garrett known to him as Sissy. His cousins are Christine Lang, Brittany Lang Soeder, Isaac and Miles Wilbur. He's also survived by other cousins, great uncles and aunts.

     He was preceded in death by grandparents, Maxie Garrett and Miles and Dorothy Suiter.

     Funeral Services will be held Tuesday Nov.21, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from the Bloomington Christian Church with Bro. Stevan McClure officiating and burial in the Van's Branch Cemetery

     The family will receive friends at the Brown Funeral Chapel in Byrdstown, TN on Monday evening Nov. 20, 2017 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M

     Donations in Garrett's name can be made to Sarah Cannon Fund or Bloomington Christian Church.

     The body will lie in state at the Bloomington Christian Church Tuesday Nov. 21, 2017 from 8:00 A.M. until time of the service at 11:00 A.M.
