Emerson Stockton

     Robert Emerson Stockton age 53 of Mt. Union School Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

     He was born February 18, 1964 in Albany, KY to Robert Emerson Stockton and Norma Lavern (Copeland) Stockton. He attended the Smyrna Church, was a school teacher and employed at Smith Co. Board of Education.

     Emerson is survived by his Wife: Kim (Garrett) Stockton ; (1) Daughter: CarolAnn Stockton ; Mother: Lavern Stockton ; Father & Mother-In-Law: Robert and Shirley Garrett ; Brother-In-Law: Luke Garrett ; Special Uncle & Aunt: Harlan and Connie Copeland. Also survived by other family members and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his Father: Robert "Bobby" Stockton.

     Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating and burial in the Lovelady-Sims Cemetery.
