Emerson was a wonderful man who really tried to provide good services for the students in Smith County. I worked with him as a colleague, a SPED Supervisor in DeKalb County, and he and I spoke often. He will be greatly missed by the special education community and his colleagues in the Upper Cumberland area. Prayers and well wishes to his family he leaves behind.
