Dorlene (Tompkins) Tompkins

     Dorlene Tompkins age 87 of Pickett Care and Rehab in Byrdstown, TN and a former resident of Jones Chapel Road passed away Friday Mar. 16, 2018 at the Pickett Care and Rehab. She was born July 24, 1930 in Byrdstown, TN to Andrew Alexander "Alex" Tompkins and Nellie (Bow) Tompkins. She was a member of the Wolf River United Baptist Church and was a retired office worker.

     She is survived by (3) Sisters: Betty Cross, Blanche Jones and Virginia Dunn. Also survived by nieces,nephews, other family members, and friends. Dorlene was preceded in death by her Parents: Alex and Nellie Tompkins; (6) Brothers: Ernest Tompkins, Loy Tompkins, Warren Tompkins, Hulon Tompkins, Virgil Tompkins, and Willard Tompkins; (5) Sisters: Ova Tompkins, Reba Amonett, Maggie Amonett, Neva Clark, and Sarah Voiles. 

     Funeral services will be held Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from the Wolf River Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating and burial in the Tompkins Cemetery.

    *Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel. The body will lie in state on Monday at the Wolf River United Baptist Church from 8:00 A.M. until time of service at 2:00 P.M.*
