David Terry Manis

     David Terry Manis age 55 of Faix Road in Byrdstown, TN passed away Tuesday,  August 30, 2016 at his residence.

     He was born October 22, 1960 in Fentress Co., TN to Carlos Dreadman Manis and Bessie (Hinds) Manis. He was a member of the Parker Community Church, a member of the Byrdstown Masonic Lodge 496, a past Deputy Sheriff and County Highway Department worker in Pickett Co.,and a farmer.

     Terry is survived by his Mother: Bessie Manis Matthews ; (1) Sister: Jackie Slaven ; (2) Brothers: Jerry D. Manis and Perry Manis (Linda) ; (2) Nieces: Carla Koger and Samantha Manis ; (1) Nephew: Shane Slaven.  Also survived by aunts, uncles, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other family members and friends. 

     He was preceded in death by his Father: Carlos Manis ; (2) Brothers: Walter Marion Manis and Jimmy Manis. 

     Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Matthew Kearney and Bro. Randy Tompkins officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Era Cemetery.

* Masonic service will be held Thursday night at 7:00 P.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel * 

* The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel *
