Alma Katherine (Sells) Smith

     Alma Katherine (Sells) Smith age 74 of Jones Chapel Rd. in Byrdstown, TN passed away Saturday, October 28, 2017 at her residence.

     She was born February 17, 1943 in Albany, KY to John Cato Sells and Hester Emogene (Winningham) Sells. She attended the Smyrna Church, a factory worker and enjoyed farming.

     Alma is survived by (2) Sons: Timothy J. Smith and Wife: Julia - Cumming, GA , Michael L. Smith and Wife: Shirley A. - Byrdstown, TN ; (2) Sisters: Oleta Basicker and Judy Sells ; (2) Brothers: Roger and Bill Sells ; (3) Grandchildren: Sara Corner and Husband: Ryan , Nikki Wright and Husband: Justin , Josh Smith and Wife: Nikki ; (6) Great Grandchildren: Devin and Nina Corner, Jaxson Smith, Isaac Wright, Alexis Smith and Harper Wright. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

     She was preceded in death by her Parents: Cato and Emogene Sells ; Husband: James "Jim" Lee Smith ; (1) Grandchild: Justin Lee Smith ; (4) Sisters: Annabelle Sells, Nellie Ruth Wilson, Cleta Mae Sells and Katie Jean Edwards ; (1) Brother: Jimmy Clayton Sells. 

     Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from the Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Rick Cross and Bro. Ivan Raley officiating. Burial will be in the Lovelady-Sims Cemetery.

* The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Brown Funeral Chapel *
